My journey

Like many of us, I have my own personal experience with trauma and understand how deeply it can impact both mental and physical health. For years, I suppressed my emotions, leaving my nervous system stuck in a trauma state. It wasn’t until my body began showing physical symptoms—anxiety, chronic fatigue, IBS, recurring infections, and burnout—that I finally took notice.

I initially turned to mainstream treatments like medication and talking therapy. While they provided some relief, I continued to struggle with emotional overwhelm, digestive issues, low energy, and unhealthy coping mechanisms such as overeating and alcohol. My body was still holding onto trauma, and traditional methods alone weren’t enough.

Determined to heal, I started integrating holistic approaches such as somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, energy healing, movement, and mindfulness, alongside conventional treatments. Through consistency and time, my IBS symptoms disappeared, my energy levels improved, and I no longer relied on alcohol or food for comfort. Most importantly, I shifted from a constant state of survival into one of love, safety, and self-compassion.

I had gained the tools to regulate my nervous system, release stored trauma, and navigate life’s ups and downs with resilience. Now, I help others do the same, using a trauma-informed, body-centred approach that supports true healing from the inside out.
